I would like to extend my warmest welcome to you as the Head of Department. Computer Engineering is the most flourishing discipline that cultivates at the cross road of new trends in other discipline. As we are aware that Computing has modernized our world it in the past one decade and will continue to serve as the core of all technologies in the 21st century. To formulate the future leaders for these innovations and provide the most challenging skills, one can learn to excel in his/her profession. Department of Computer Engineering is committed to excellence in teaching, research and inculcating a sense of pride and confidence in our students.

The objective is to empower our students with latest technical knowledge and skills by providing them with the best teaching facility like state of the art, lab facilities and excellent research and development environment along with best teachers to teach and motivate. The motivation is not just to nurture their technical skills but to provide professional grooming and guidance so that our students come-up as methodical professionals and inspiring individuals. To meet the objectives the department takes special emphasis on teaching and hands on practical work.

Our Graduates in Computer Engineering will be able to demonstrate:

Program Outcomes

  • PO 1: Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization for the solution of complex engineering problems.
  • PO 2: Problem analysis:
  • PO 3: Design/development of solutions: Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
  • PO 4: Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the nformation to provide validconclusions.
  • PO 5: Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques,resources, and modern engineering and IT tools, including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities, with an understanding of the limitations.
  • PO 6: The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
  • PO 7: Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
  • PO 8: Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.
  • PO 9: Individual and team work: Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.
