She has completed her B. Tech. (IT) degree from S.N.D.T. University, Mumbai and M. Tech. from RashtrasantTukdojiMaharaj Nagpur University. She is research scholar for topic “Performance evaluation of dynamic routing protocols in wireless sensor network”towards the Doctoral ProgrammeS. G.B.A. University, Amravati.

She has published total 16 papers out of which 06 papers are published in international conferences,2 are published in national conferences and 8 papers in international journals. She has total 13 years of teaching experience.

Name of The Event-Drawing Competition
1) Description Event:G. H. Raisoni Engineering and Management, Wagholi, Pune, Department of Information Technology organized college level “Drawing Competition” on the occasion 15th August, Azadi 70. It was organized on 12th August 2016 at IT Seminar Hall under ITSA (Information Technology Student Association). Total 35 students participated in the competition from various departments. The drawings were examined by Prof. Simran Khiani, HOD of I.T Department & Prof. Savitri Patil, Coordinator of I.T. Department. Winners falicitated with certificate and gift. Ms. Varsha Karande, Sudent of IT Department was awarded first prize. Mr. Prabhat Thakur, Student from IT Department was awarded second prize. Mr. Mayur Jadhav, Student from Computer Engg. Department was awarded thrid prize. Prof. Simran Khiani appriciated the efforts of students and congratulated them.The competition was organised by Ms. Poonam Dhamal, ITSA coordinator under the guidance of Prof. Simran Khiani and Dr. Prof. Rajendra Suryawansi, Dean(Students).
Name of The Event- Seminar on Entrepreneurship Activity
1) Description Event:Department of Information Technology, GHRCEM, Pune organized a seminar on Enterprenership Activity for TE and BE students on 8th September 2016. The event started with saraswati vandana with enlightening of lamp. Prof. Savitri Patil , Incharge Head of Information Technology welcomed the guest Mr. Rahul Bhise, Area Manager, Kraze Bee, Pune.The basic objectives of EDP are to: Develop and strengthen entrepreneurial quality, i.e., motivation or need for achievement, to analyze environmental set up relating to small industry and promoting it, Removing unemployment, enhancing industrial development, developing industrially backward region, select project/product, formulate the project, understand the process and procedure involved in setting up small units, know the sources of help and support available for starting a small-scale industry, acquire necessary managerial skill required to run the industrial unit, know the pros and cons of being an entrepreneur, helping the person to understand environmental changes and opportunities, acquaint and appreciate the needed social responsibility/ entrepreneurial discipline. Krazy Bee is a site that helps students to take products without any credit card. The seminar covered the important of internship and how to make dreams reality. Krazy Bee site emphasis on the key principals of internship and helps students to gain perspective in organizing a new startup. The event was organized by Prof. Poonam Dhamal under the guidance of Prof. Simran Khiani, HOD, Information Technology Department, Dr. Prof. Rajendra Suryawansi, Dean(Students) and Prof. Surendra Waghmare, Head, Incubation Center and Management.
Name of The Event- One Day Workshop on "Linux"
1) Description Event:Department of Information Technology, GHRCEM, Pune organized One Day Workshop on “Linux” on 21st September 2016. The event started with saraswati vandana and enlightening of lamp. Prof. Simran Khiani, Head of Information Technology welcomed the guest Mr. Satayendra Pal, Webasha Technology, Pune. Prof. Poonam Dhamal shared few words on objectives of Linux. The series of lectures were delivered by Mr. Satayendra Pal on the introduction of Linux, history of Unix Vs Windows, different Unix distributions System verses IPC construct, Semaphore, Shared memory, message queue and pipe. Total 49 students (S.E. IT, T.E. IT, B.E. IT) & Staff from IT departments participated in this workshop. The Students & staff got benefit through workshop by latest trends in the Linux Internals. The program was coordinated by Prof. Poonam Dhamal. All the faculty members of the Department took hard efforts for the successful conduction of the program.

1) Description Event:Department of Information Technology, GHRCEM, Pune organized Guest Lecture on “Machin Learning” on 01st September 2016. The event started with saraswati vandana with enlightening of lamp. Prof. Simran Khiani , Head of Information Technology welcomed the guest Prof. Ravindra Murumkar , PICT, Pune. The objective of this guest lecture was to understand the concept of Machin Learning, regression, classification, learning theroy, non leaner model, complex data model and machin learning trends. Total 40 students attended the guest lecture. At last Prof. Mohasin Tamboli gave vote of thanks. The guest lecture was organized by Prof. Savitri Patil, Coordinator of IT Department under the guidance of Prof. Simran Khiani, HOD, IT Department.
Name of The Event- Parents Teacher Meet
1) Description Event:Department of Information Technology, GHRCEM, Pune organized First Parents Teacher Meet on 10th September 2016, for SE, TE and BE students for Sem I, Acedemic Year 2016-2017. Prof. Savitri Patil , Coordinator of Information Technology welcomed the parents. Parents enquired about their ward’s attendance & performance. Class Teacher informed about the Mission, Vision and PEO, PO’s of the Department and also explained defaulter and detention criteria. Parents gave a very good feedback for the meeting and available resources for academic development of the student as well as about the involvement and dedication of faculty members in all the co-curricular activities. They also appreciated for the development of students technically and socially. The Parent’s Teacher Meet was organized by Prof. Ramesh Patole under the guidance of Prof. Simran Khiani, HOD, Information Technology Department.

The event started with saraswati vandana with enlightening of lamp. Prof. Simran Khiani , Head of Information Technology welcomed the guest Mr. Prashant Mohare, Software Devloper, Omvsab IT Solution, Pune. Mr. Prashant Mohare is Alumini of IT Department. The objective of this guest lecture was to understand the concept of software testing, modeling and desiging. The series of lectures were delivered by Mr. Prashant Mohare on the introduction of software modeling, class modeling, state modeling, interaction modeling, system analysis, system design, design pattern and software testing. 27 students (B.E.) from IT departments, Pune attended the Guest Lecture. At last class teacher, Prof. Shabda Dongaonkar gave vote of thanks. 1) Description Event:Department of Information Technology, GHRCEM, Pune organized Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on 31st Auguest 2016.Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a cleanliness campaign run by the government of India and initiated by the Honourable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a Swachh Bharat mission led by the government of India to make India a clean India. It is launched as a responsibility of the each and every Indian citizen to make this country a Swachh country. This campaign has initiated people globally towards the cleanliness. Department of IT, implemented this Swachatta abhiyan in department corridors, classes, labs and college campus to fulfill the vison and mission of clean India a day. Staff and students participated in swachh bharat abhiyan. The event was organized by Prof. Poonam Dhamal under the guidance of Prof. Simran Khiani, HOD, Information Technology Department and Dr. Prof. Rajendra Suryawansi, Dean(Students).

The series of lectures were delivered by Prof. Rajesh Phursule on the introduction of Thory of computation, Pushdown Automata, Construction of DPDA and NPDA, Equivalence of PDAs and CFGs, Closure Properties Of CFLs, Concept of Post Machines, Turing Machines, Definition and Construction of Turing Machines, Languages of TM, Types of TM, Time Complexity of TM, Halting Problem, Church’s Turing Hypothesis, Comparison And Applications of DFA, PDA and TM. 25 students (T.E. IT & B.E. IT) & Staff from IT departments, Pune attended the Guest Lecture. At last class teacher, Prof. Priya Ujawe gave vote of thanks. 1) Description Event: Department of Information Technology GHRCEM, Pune has organized an Adjunct Faculty Guest lecture on Project Management on 17th September 2016 for B.E IT students .2) Description of the Photos (Pics):- The purpose of this event was to make aware students about the various aspects of Project and phases of project life cycle. On the occasion, Mr. Vijay Suryavanshi from Goel Ganga Group was the speaker, who is also the Adjunct faculty of IT Dept. Lecture was arranged in class room of I.T department .About 30 students took benefit of lecture. Students were very eager to learn the concept about project from the industry person. Event started with the welcome speech of Prof. Mohasin Tamboli. Then Mr. Vijay Suryavanshi took the charge, he has covered many topics regarding the Project Management . Students were very lucky to learn live example of project by the speaker. Sir has cleared many viva questions about the project exam. Finally sir has explained importance of project in the life of an Engineer. Session last for 3 hours.

1) Description Event:Department of Information Technology GHRCEM, Pune has organized an motivational lecture on entrepreneurship on 10th September 2016 under the Entrepreneurship Cell for IT/COMP/MCA students . 2) Description of the Photos (Pics):- The purpose of this event was to make aware students about the various aspects of entrepreneurship. On the occasion, Mr. Karan Bhalla, alumni of GHRCEM was the motivational speaker. Lecture was arranged in seminar hall 207.About 120 students took benefit of lecture. Event started with the welcome speech and introduction session of Prof. Mohasin Tamboli. Then Prof. Surendra Waghmare, Head of Incubation and Innovation Centre briefed about the purpose of the event. Then Mr. Karan Bhalla gave an amazing motivational lecture for about 2 hours. Session ended with the vote of thanks by Prof. Sachin Patil.
