H.O.D Profile

Mrs. Bharati Kharade has completed her MCA from Govt. College of Engineering Karad and at present she is pursuing Ph.D. from Savitribai Phule Pune University. She has 13.9 years of teaching experience. She has presented and published papers in national and international conferences. Her area of interest is Data Mining. Mrs. Bharati Kharade is also a subject chairman and paper setter for MCA (Engg) course in University of Pune for subjects like Advanced DBMS, Probability and Statistics, OOAD, DW, DM & BI.

HOD Message

MCA Department started in the year 2008 in the college to nurture graduate students as a high level of professional performance and high employability prospects. The department has established its reputation by achieving almost 100% result for the entire pass out batches. Many of our students are rank holders at university level and are placed at multinational companies and secured important positions. Few of our students are entrepreneurs as well.

Name of The Event- Visit to Orphanage
1) Description Event:"SHREE MUK-BADHIR VIDYALAYA-(AASHRAM)" means home for destitute children: A Haven of Hope, belonging & understanding. “Shree Muk-Badhir vidyalaya” is an institution in Wagholi, Pune. Their mission is to help destitute female, children from all over Pune, exercise their right to higher quality of life irrespective of gender, caste, creed or religion. As institute social responsibility, the Department of MCA, GHRCEM has organized a visit to an Orphanage at “Shree Muk-Badhir vidyalaya” Wagholi, Tah: Havali” on 18th Feb 2017 under “SAMCA” – Student Association of MCA. MCA Students organized different events and competitions for the children staying in the orphanage including few games like one Musical chair, bucket ball, singing and dance. Many of them participated in these events. The winners received different prizes for these competitions. Collection received from the donation is utilized for purchasing stationary including Notebooks, Pen & Pencils, Color Boxes etc. During the games, we also distributed chocolates and biscuits to children. It was a good experience to spend some time with orphan children. The trustees of “Shree Muk-Badhir vidyalaya” Mr. Shivlal Jadhav, Mr. Babulalji Lodha, Mr. Motilal Jadhav, and in charge of “Shree Muk-Badhir vidyalaya” Mr. Ganesh Rahane and staff has supported a lot for this event. This event was organized by faculty members of MCA dept. under the guidance of Dr. J. B. Sankpal Director, GHRCEM.

Name of The Event- 2nd BOS Meeting
1) Description Event:The MCA Department conducted BOS meeting on 18th January 2017 at 10 a.m. in Mini Conference hall at GHRCEM, Pune.Dr. Kishor Wagh briefed about the agenda of BOS meeting to the Board of Studies members of MCA Department in the meeting. The main aim of the meeting was finalization of SYMCA syllabus contents. BOS members gave their valuable suggestions for few changes in the contents of SYMCA syllabus for autonomy. The detailed discussion was held regarding COs of all the subjects. Few COs were modified as per suggestions by BOS members and approved. List of text books and reference books were discussed in brief. BOS members appreciated as result is 100%. Meeting ended with vote of thanks. Dr. A.S. Pote, Director appreciated the MCA department and team for successful conduction of BoS meeting.
Name of The Event- Kite Flying Festival-2017
1) Description Event:It was the bright winter Saturday Afternoon on 14 January 2017, when the “Kite Flying Festival-2017” took place on the eve of “Makar Sankranti” at G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering & Management, Wagholi, Pune campus between 01:00 p.m. to 03:30 p.m. The event was graced with the presence of the honorable Chief guests Mr. Ajit Tatiya (Trustee Director, Pune), Col. Ajeet Singhvi (Retd) (Campus Director, Pune), Dr. Amol S Pote (I/C Director GHRCEM, Pune), Dr. R.D. Kharadkar (Principal GHRIET, Pune) Dr. M.D. Shinde (Principal GHRCACS, Pune), Mr. Nagendra Singh (CEO, GHRCF, Pune) Mr. Pravin Matte (Vice Principal Academic, GHRCEM, Pune) and along with HODs of all departments and all dignitaries had expressed best wishes to the students and staff members present at the occasion. The festival was pleasantly enjoyed by near about 1000 students and 150 staff members of pune campus and was found in very delightful mood. During this festival, an arrangement of refreshment was made to the students and staff members. It was a wonderful and fascinating scenario where the kites were soaring high into the clear skies just like the Institute’s emblem mentions – a vision beyond. The whole event was coordinated by Mr. Prasad T. Shaha & Mr. Santosh Mote who made every possible effort to make this festival memorable and successful.
