Mechanical Engineering Department has organized guest lecture on Machine learning for B. Tech student. Machine learning is the science of getting computers to act without being explicitly programmed. In the past decade, machine learning has given us self-driving cars, practical speech recognition, effective web search, and a vastly improved understanding of the human genome. Machine learning is so pervasive today that you probably use it dozens of times a day without knowing it. Many researchers also think it is the best way to make progress towards human-level AI. In this class, you will learn about the most effective machine learning techniques, and gain practice implementing them and getting them to work for yourself. More importantly, you'll learn about not only the theoretical underpinnings of learning, but also gain the practical kno-how needed to quickly and powerfully apply these techniques to new problems. Finally, you'll learn about some of Silicon Valley's best practices in innovation as it pertains to machine learning and AI. The program builds a solid foundation by covering the most popular and widely used deep learning technologies and its applications, including Computer Vision, Convoluted and Recurrent Neural Networks, Natural Language Processing, Tensor Flow and even Keras–laying the building blocks for truly expanded capabilities. The Program was Started in the Presence of Dr. R R Arakerimath HOD Mechanical Engineering Department, Mr. Pramod Kathmore and Mr. P. P. Sharma Assistant Professor.Total 78 students were present in the lecture & Overall program was successfully carried by the effort taken by Teaching & Non-Teaching Faculty of Mechanical Department.

The knowledge of materials characteristics allows the designer not only to make the best material selection as a function of its application in a given product, but also to overcome its limits and constraints in a design path where materials and transformation technologies become variables of the creation process. The materials rational and oriented use is necessary to bring out and enrich the perceptive and sensorial experience undergone by the consumer. The innovative values of an object can be underlined by the chosen material; in fact its mechanical and chemico-physical properties, as well as its forming, joining and finishing technologies, all participate to the success of a product. The history of design, of products and their shapes, is based on the constant dialectic relationship between a project and new materials and technologies. The central role materials had in the past is attested by the traditional identification of the evolutionary eras with the material accompanying man’s presence: the Stone Age, the Copper Age, the Bronze Age, the Iron Age. Though only the most recent developments in chemistry allowed the beginning of a new era based on materials designed by man, during the industrial revolution (XVII-XIX centuries) new instruments and equipments became available, thus increasing the number, efficiency and variety of man’s actions on materials. The Program was Started in the Presence of Dr. R R Arakerimath HOD Mechanical Engineering Department, Mr. Vishal Patil and Mr. P. P. Sharma Assistant Professor.Total 61 students were present in the lecture & Overall program was successfully carried by the effort taken by Teaching & Non-Teaching Faculty of Mechanical Department.

Regular Sports certainly make the heart stronger. Hence, Sport is an excellent preventive measure against heart diseases. This certainly increases the life expectancy of individuals. Furthermore, a healthy heart means a healthy blood pressure.Sports involve physical activity of the body. Due to this physical activity, blood vessels remain clean. Sports reduces the amount of cholesterol and fats in the body. This happens because of the increase of flexibility of the wall of the blood vessels. The flexibility increases due to physical exertion, which is the result of Sports.Furthermore, the sugar level in blood also gets lower thanks to Sports. The sugar certainly does not accumulate in the blood due to physical activity.

IoT (the Internet of Things) is by far the most important development of the 21st century, and it will continue to lead to great things in the future. The internet of things refers to a network of physical devices, automobiles, home appliances and all those items that are used in conjunction with actuators, electronics, sensors, software and connectivity to enhance connection, collection and data exchange. The IoT provides a platform that creates opportunities for people to connect these devices and control them with big data technology, which in return will promote efficiency in performance, economic benefits and minimize the need for human involvement. It’s the most important development of the 21st century.IoT involves the extension of internet connectivity beyond personal computers and mobile devices. It can reach a wide range of non-internet enabled devices. Once the devices have been embedded with technology, they are brought to life and can communicate with each other through the internet. This means they can be monitored and controlled remotely. For instance, the rise of autonomous driverless cars has become more feasible because of IoT implementation.Guest Lecture on “Internet of Things”, 2019-20 (II-Term) was organized by First Year B. Tech department of G H Raisoni college of Engg. and Management, Pune. The event started with the introduction of the IOT. The main purpose behind the conduction of the program was to make aware the importance of IOT. Activity was coordinated by Mr. Prashant Mahavir Ambure, Faculty of F.Y.B.Tech department.
